About Dr. Gabriel Roopnarine
Dr. Gabriel Roopnarine is a veterinarian from Trinidad and Tobago who earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the School of Veterinary Medicine at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. During his studies, he completed a clinical externship in Texas, where he had the opportunity to work alongside experienced equine veterinarians. There, he gained valuable hands-on experience strengthening his skills across species.
Since graduating, Dr. Roopnarine has worked with small animals, farm animals, and exotics. He brings a calm, thoughtful approach to his practice, always focused on making both pets and their owners feel heard and cared for. Outside of veterinary medicine, Gabriel is a creative soul, he enjoys photography and music production. Whether he’s behind a camera, or a guitar, he’s always looking for new ways to connect with the world around him.
